Line Renaud : “Pass The Baton”

GALA EVENING

 The Saving Card!

 Organization:

Pass The Baton!

Place: Lausanne

Date: Thursday 6 th November

Guests: 270

Line Renaud brought her support to Pascale Lilla, mother of Denis Lilla and founder of the foundation in favour of organs donation.

Pascale Lilla lost her son of 18 in a banal car accident which happened a stone's throw from his domicile in Montreux. It was in January, 2002. But his tragic death gave a new hope to eight organs receivers. Soon thereafter, Pascale Lilla created the Foundation “Pass The Baton” and started her fight for the promotion of organs donation.

This never doubting Courage mother recruited as godmother for one evening the singer and actress Line Renaud, who is famous as much for her talent as for her humanitarian engagement. “I wrote her without even knowing her exact address. By kind courtesy of the postman… And she said yes!”

Placed under the sign of conviviality and sharing, the supporting dinner at the Lausanne- Palace was dedicated to latino dancing. “Spain is the first organs donating country in Europe” Pascale Lilla explained her audience of 270 guests, famous or anonymous, among which two of the oldest organs receivers in Switzerland.
